Our fun weekend!

We got to spend some more time with our family this weekend. I have included a handful of pictures here, but there are more on the picture site. We loved seeing everyone and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

We had such a great time today at the park. Alex climbed up the rock wall type thing by himself. He is growing up too fast. We are so glad we get to spend so much time with family and friends this summer and look forward to seeing everyone more since we will be northerners again.

It has been a while...

I didn't have a charger for my computer this week, so sorry it took so long to post. Alex continues to learn new things everyday. He is getting big and happier by the day, which I didn't think was possible. Haha! I have included some pictures from the past week or so. Isn't he cute?

Just more of the same...

(*Finally, the audio works!) We got to go and visit our families this weekend and had a great time! I have included some pictures of our visit and a couple of recent videos too. It seems like Alex is learning something new everyday. Today he sat for a couple of hours (off and on) and just built stuff with his Megablocks (Giant Legos for those who may not know). He was happy to get his car books back and we have made up for lost time reading them.

Here is Alex playing with Grandma's "Easter Bunny". He loves this thing and we have to play it a dozen times every time we visit. He loves how the tail moves.

This is a short video of Alex cracking himself up. He just started laughing. It was really cute. This went on for a little while. I think he was laughing at me, saying "Mom, don't you ever put that thing down?"

Playing Chase

Sorry this took so long to post. User error. I spent most of the day reading to Alex as usual, but he and Dad had some fun playing chase this evening. Kevin and Alex chased each other for about half an hour tonight. It was really cute! I have included a video (sorry, I took it with my camera) of some of the fun.

Here is a picture of Alex trying in my sunglasses last night. He thought it was hilarious and we went back and forth putting them on for about 15 minutes.



I just thought this one was cute. This is what he does just before he takes off when we are chasing him. He ran himself ragged tonight.

No Better Time

I figure there is no time like the present to start a Blog for our family. I hope to keep our friends and family updated on the big and small things of our life while including pictures of Alex! I know that is the real reason most people will visit the site. It will probably not be an every day thing, but I hope to post pictures and information twice a week. I have posted a reading list of what I am currently reading or have recently read at the bottom. Feel free to ask my opinion on any of the books listed, but I haven't read a bad one in a while! Enjoy the blog and here are a few pictures of Alex to get you started.
