Busy, but fun week...
Kevin started back to work this week, but not before he had to travel 40 minutes for new tires and a suit alteration and then had to turn around and put in a new sump pump the next day (and be prepared for classes). The rest of the week was pretty normal, but we had a great visit with Great Grandma Olex, Aunt Kathy and Aunt Tomi Ann and Grandma and Grandpa Portteus stopped by too. Alex had a fun-filled weekend with his family and we got to try some great local restaurants in the area. We also found some budding pool sharks in our family (haha). I have posted some pictures from the past couple of days, including one of a frog that was hanging out on our back door, some with family from this weekend, and a really cute one of Alex in his bike helmet (He loves riding with us on the bike.). Enjoy, and I hope to post more soon!

Finally in Michigan!
We are finally moved in and pretty much unpacked. The house is great and we are meeting a lot of new people. We are having a busy week meeting other people from the university and other families in the area. Everyone has been very welcoming. There are a ton of pictures on the Picasa site of our new house and old apartment, as well as more pictures of Alex, but I have included a few pictures and a video of Alex here.

Alex's New Favorite Toy...
Most parents wonder why they buy toys when boxes do just fine! Alex had a good time playing in boxes today as we prepare for our move. Check out some of the pictures and the short video clip of Alex playing today.

Look at my smiling boy...
Alex has been going through a growth spurt, so he has been eating and sleeping a ton! He is quickly becoming our little man. Enjoy the pictures!

Just a few more from Indianapolis...
Well, we are back from Indianapolis and preparing to move to Michigan, but we thought we would share a few more pictures of our trip. We had a great time and look forward to going to GAC again in Orlando 2010!

Alex was so tired out after this weekend that he slept almost the whole way home from Indianapolis and went to bed early.
Only a few more days before we are officially moved in to our new house in Michigan!

Our Trip to the Indy Zoo...
Well, we are in Indianapolis this weekend and having a lot of fun! Alex and I went to the zoo today with our friends Carla and Braden while Kevin was off doing his own thing. We saw lots of animals, rode the carousel, took a ride on a train and saw the dolphin show. Here are a couple of pictures from our day.

Here are just a couple of pictures of Alex at home. He is getting big and learning so many new things. He will show you his belly (by lifting up his shirt and patting it), his ears and my nose (he hasn't mastered his own yet, hehe). He seems like he is getting ready to talk, but we haven't gotten a lot of real words yet. I am starting to be able to distinguish when he is repeating me though. Enjoy the pictures and I hope to post more soon (although it may be difficult with the move to our new house this weekend!).
